ADNC was founded in 1965 by Gere Colclough.
Today we are proud to include over 300 members in our wonderful organization.

Member Health and Safety

Alamo Danville Newcomers Club does not require you to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to attend activities and events.  The Club relies on its members for their consideration of others.  Therefore, remember that the COVID-19 virus as well as other airborne diseases are still active.  If you are feeling ill, please STAY HOME.  If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask at an event or activity, you are welcome to do so.

What We’re About

The Alamo Danville Newcomers Club is a very active women’s social club with the sole purpose of enriching the lives of its members while fostering new and lasting friendships.

We welcome those new to the area, as well as those who are already established but looking to make new connections.

What We Offer

  • An opportunity to socialize and connect with other like-minded women and develop new friendships

  • More than 30 fun and exciting activities, including some evening events and several activities designed for couples.

  • A monthly luncheon, along with two or three special events during the year. 

    Our amazing club truly has something for everyone!

Membership is open to all new or longtime residents of Alamo and Danville (including Blackhawk and Diablo).  Prospective members are asked to attend a Welcome Coffee before joining.

Alamo Danville Newcomers Club is a volunteer-run 501(c)(7) not-for-profit social organization. It is governed by a Board of Directors which is responsible for setting club policy, establishing and supporting long-term goals, overseeing general operations and activities, and approving the allocation of resources. The Board consists of volunteers from among the Club's membership. All Club members in good standing are eligible to hold any position on the Board.
